Welcome to Snug Harbor Resort
Snug Harbor Resorts is located in northern Wisconsin in Chetek on the South end of Prairie Lake

We offer large, home like house keeping cabins in a relaxing and secluded, easy to get to location. Pontoon boat and motor rental, convenience store with groceries, live bait, tackle, ice and souvenirs.

Are you looking for crappie and bluegill fishing? We've got it.

Large mouth bass? We've got it. Northern Pike? We've got it.

WALLEYES? Since 2004 an organization known as Walleyes for Chetek has been planting 8 to 16 inch walleyes in this chain of lakes every fall. These are not your typical 2 inch crappie food fingerlings.

They are or will be adult fish the following spring. 44,000 so far.The draw back of doing this is the cost. They cost $0.25 an inch. If you would like to contribute, send your donation to:
